Back in March I was published and featured on Paragraph Planet.  I was also crazy busy with some life decisions and never posted the link on here.  First of all check out Paragraph Planet because it is an awesome site!  http://www.paragraphplanet.com/index.php
However, I'm not sure how far their archive goes back.  I'm posting the piece below.  Happy Sunday.

Syndication in Chicago: There are 2.9
million residents that live in the city of
Chicago. If the world was an atom, Chicago
would be the nucleus. Buildings grow from
the ground, sprouting across the different
neighborhoods, cement trees with humans
nestled inside. Yes, this old city is
tired - magnificent - and vast, but the
amazing thing is among the thousands of
criss-crossing streets, people manage to
meet. They fall in love. They find each
other.

Keep looking out for some new posts.  This week I will be posting some snippets from "Grimm and White," the novel I have been writing for the past year and a half.  Hopefully it will be finished by this February.  I mean after all, it is about the Heartless.

I'm a writer and teacher living in Baltimore City. I'm originally from Chicago. I graduated from Columbia College Chicago with a BA in Fiction. Instead of babbling, I will list a few of the things in life that make me happy:
    1) My obese (pleasantly plump) cat, Bambi
    2) Horribly cliche and corny Christmas movies
    3) Guzzling coffee and tea - @ the same time on a good day
    4) Running (jogging at a very slow race)
    5) Watching my boyfriend watch silly videos or music videos - Pure joy.
    6) My mother - Every single minute of every day
    7) The unique way words tangle together to form their own breath, like a foot-print or a snowflake.
    8) My students - My wonderful, frustrating, and lovely students
    9) My grad school program and all the wonderful people I have met. Knowing that such creative individuals exist in this world
    10) Books - real life, physical-creatures, that are formed from pages and breathe fire, and bring you to places that you have never been. Books. Books from Bradbury, Rowling, and Lee. Books that make you remember that within the world there is proof that we are good and we are beautiful and we have lived. Books teach us that the story falls somewhere in the middle. The story is everything.
